My name is Anu, and I am about to take you on an imaginary journey to Casa del Papa Resort & Spa.

Before taking this trip to Casa del Papa, I wanted an avenue to unwind and release the stress from my 9-5 (every 9-5 worker can relate), and this trip did it.

Free Wi-Fi

There is uninterruptible free Wi-Fi at Casa del Papa. So, I wasn’t worried about poor network connection outside of my zone. I was able to stay connected with my family and friends back home. Sounds great!

Take Pictures

Sorry, but I am not one of the mature people who don’t like to take pictures. Lol. I took thousands of pictures to drown my Instagram and my other socials. Every part of the resort is worth striking a pose for a perfect picture, from the lagoon view to the bungalows around the coconut trees to the garden, to the beach.

Go kayaking.

Kayaking on the Lagoon is another activity I enjoyed at the resort. Ensure you go with your friends to make it more fun and of course don’t forget to take loads of pictures.

Explore the outside city.

I visited the Amazon monument (2^nd tallest statue in West Africa), the art museum, the souvenir market, and other places. I had a culture shock when I realized the roads were so clean and organized, unlike the Lagos I know. Lol.

Swimming

The calmness I felt as I immersed myself in the pool, playing with the water and swinging my feet made me feel like a child again.

Spa

Put your body to a great treat at the Spa and allow professional hands to make you feel good, but it comes at an extra cost.

Enjoy the beach breeze and take an evening walk.

I felt young again running at the beach, singing, and dancing … burning all the energies I wanted to reserve for the next day. I would love to do this again.

Outdoor Games

I enjoyed a variety of games organized by my team (Wayfare Travels): Volleyball, basketball, Gerrout games, concentration game, movie night and many more.
